After finally deciding to move forward with my hip replacement, my only regret is not doing it sooner. If you have significant arthritis find another knee surgeon. I am broken hearted to have sepsis that lead to Necrosis of my tibia. My surgeon said he cannot believe the mess Dr. Moore caused😥 - [281019](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/281019/): Cdr. Moore and his staff are great. He did my right hip surgery 3 years ago and I’m doing good. The staff are very friendly and respectful. - [268582](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/268582/): Necrosis after a nightmare knee replacement. Very unhappy with his work on my knee replacement 😥 - [267686](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/267686/): Dr Moore covered up the mess that Dr Fedder did to Shirley Robbins during knee replacement. Should have got a lawyer but Dr Moore should have advised Ms Robbins to sue. She cannot walk without assistance since those two messed up her Right leg. Too risky to operate now due to COPD. Don't trust anyone, sue just to get them out of the operating room. - [222531](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/222531/): Dr. Moore is the WORST ortho at Pinehurst Surgical Clinic!!! Period. Missed diagnosed my injury, did not listen to a word of my situation/pain, and gave me no post care regiment. If you care about your body do not see this man. He is careless, in a rush, and does not listen to his patients. - [221034](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/221034/): Dr. Moore did both my knee replacements. The first knee was bone on bone. He and his staff are excellent and they work as a team. He saw me every day in the hospital and follow ups. He listens well and answers questions. I respect and like him a lot. - [178888](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/178888/): Dr John Moore is one of the best if not the best orthopedic surgeon in the Pinehurst area in my opinion. I chose him and the hospital over New Hanover and Cape Fear Hospitals. I had bilateral knee replacement on July 24, 2017. I am so very pleased and satisfied with him. He has an extraordinary bedside manner and gets in no hurry when discussing your health situation, well being and the surgery before and after the fact. I may require hip replacement surgery soon and I pray that Dr. Moore will be able to preform my hip replacement. - [173892](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/173892/): The office is extremely professional and informative! Would highly recommend Dr. More and his team. - [163015](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/163015/): I had TLHR December 14, 2020. Dr. Moore and everyone involved in my surgery and care were wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Moore to anyone.. - [81035](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/81035/): My teenage son received care from Dr. Moore for his broken arm. Dr.Moore was very personable & professional. - [64055](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/64055/): I had a total knee replacement on 24 Jan 2020 (I'm walking mostly without assistance now). Dr. Moore and his whole team were great. Being a retired Soldier I was not use to all the paperwork I was given on the procedure and post-op. Dr. Moore did a bone scan and gave me the same three choices he gave the other reviewers. He didn't tell me to pray on it though. Wonder why. Anyway, being almost 2 months out I am still in pain, however, I am working hard in physical therapy and Dr. Moore told me to call him if I have any problems before my 6 month appointment. I am very happy with the whole team outside of the one problem with the assistant that I had to put in check. - [33438](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33438/): Dr. MOORE is a pleasure to work with and my husbands bilateral hip surgery was a great success. Yes both hips at the same time. He told my husband and I to pray on it before we made the decision. And it was a great success. We are so happy we found Dr. MOORE. We drove from Charlotte to see him and we would do it all again! Thank you Dr. MOORE. - [33439](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33439/): Double knee replacement was very thrilled with my surgery and therapy at Pinehurst hospital. Great people if I had to do surgery on my knees again,Dr Moore is who I would call . I'm having my best friends to consider talking with him to do their knee surgery . - [33440](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33440/): VERY DISAPPOINTING WITH HIS WHOLE PERSONALITY! - [33447](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33447/): Dr. Moore replaced my left hip in Dec 2016. I just finished walking the last 108km of the Camino de Santiago in Spain to celebrate my 60th birthday. Could not be more pleased with the outcome of my surgery, the professionalism of Dr. Moore's staff and my greatly improved quality of life. Thanks Dr. Moore! - [72224](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/72224/): Dr. Moore replaced my left hip in Dec 2015. I just finished walking the last 108km of the Camino de Santiago in Spain to celebrate my 60th birthday. Could not be more pleased with the outcome of my surgery, the professionalism of Dr. Moore's staff and my greatly improved quality of life. Thanks Dr. Moore! - [33441](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33441/): Dr. Moore is a talented and excellent physician with incredible bed side manner. He takes time to really listen to his patients and give them all of their options. He also has wonderful staff that are always so friendly and helpful. - [33442](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33442/): I did a lot research for finding a doctor to give me a second opinion because my other orthopedic doctor recommended another partial knee replacement which I just had done 5 years ago and that didn't work. So I decided to seek another doctors opinion before jumping into the same surgery. After my research and reading reviews I just knew I had chosen the right doctor to help me to understand what was the best plan of action for me. Boy was I wrong!!!! From the beginning Dr Moore always seemed rushed and didn't have time to answer questions but I hoped it was because he was trying to get the whole picture of my knee problem before getting into discussing my options. But after having MRI, bone scan and injection at my last appointment he told me I had 3 options deal with pain, try injections or convert my partial into a full knee replacement. Needless to say I was even more confused and had so many questions since his recommendation was totally opposite of the other orthopedic doctor. As I began to ask questions he said no need to decide today just pray on it and call my assistant when your ready to move forward. I still had questions but I guess he had NO TIME to answer them for me. He practically walked out as I was in mid sentence with a question. So if you are looking for a doctor that is willing to take time to talk to you and help you understand why and what is best plan for your issues then Dr Moore is NOT the doctor your looking for. I'm not sure how his rating is so good because his bed side manner is absolutely terrible. I have made complaint with my insurance company since they paid his firm a lot of money for all the testing he did but yet didn't take time to help me understand the best plan of action for my needs. Very DISAPPOINTED with care and treatment I received from Dr Moore!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND him as an orthopedic doctor. - [33443](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33443/): This Doctor is the Best ! I would highly recommend. - [33445](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33445/): He performed bilateral knee replacement surgery on me. Excellent doctor! Great bed side manners! Highly recommended! - [33446](https://drjohnrmoore.com/reviews/33446/): Dr Moore and the office staff really spend time to make sure the patient's experience is wonderful. ## Testimonials - [20615](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20615/): Very professional and caring - [20614](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20614/): Great! - [20613](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20613/): Excellent written booklets covering all phases of procedure. - [20612](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20612/): Everything was explained to me in detail - [20611](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20611/): His professional and kind bedside manner was outstanding!! - [20610](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20610/): He told me everything would be just fine and it was just fine. - [20609](https://drjohnrmoore.com/testimonials/20609/): I thought I wasn't doing as well as I should be.
