Michelle will assist you in your pre-operative appointment and she will also be involved in both non-operative orthopedic care of patients.
Certified Physician Assistant
Savannah is Dr Moore’s newest Physician Assistant. Although Savannah is new to her PA role, she is not new to Team Moore. Savannah worked with Team Moore as a medical assistant prior to and while attending PA school. She was a member of Dr Moore’s team for over three years before rejoining the team as a medical provider. Savannah will assist you in your pre-operative appointment and will also be involved in the non-operative orthopedic care of patients.
Nurse Practitioner
Steve will assist you in your pre-operative appointment. Steve is also involved in all aspects of operative and non-operative patient care.
Vickie Stewart
Licensed Practical Nurse, Scribe
Vickie is Dr Moore’s clinic scribe-inputting data into each of Dr Moore’s clinic patients’ office visit and consultation notes. Vickie is also the primary contact for patient related disability paperwork. Vickie has worked with Dr Moore in his Pinehurst and Rockingham clinics for many years.
Alice Pearson
Certified Medical Assistant
Alice is one of our most experiences medical assistants at PSC. Alice is involved in readying patients to be seen by their orthopedic provider. Alice will be taking your vital signs, going over your medications and medical/surgical history. Alice will be documenting your orthopedic symptoms and placing orders for testing and appointment follow up as directed by your medical provider.
Lauren Crutchfield
Registered Nurse
Lauren is a registered nurse who has worked with Dr Moore for a great number of years. Lauren is involved in readying patients to be seen by their orthopedic provider. Lauren will be taking your vital signs, going over your medications and medical/surgical history. Lauren will be documenting your orthopedic symptoms and placing orders for testing and appointment follow up as directed by your medical provider. Lauren is also involved in communicating with patients in need and triage.
Heather Wilhelm
Surgery Scheduler / Office Manager
Heather is a one of Dr Moore’s most precious assets. Heather has worked of and on with Dr Moore and with Pinehurst Surgical Clinic for approximately 18 years. Heather is the coordinator of Dr Moore’s very busy surgery schedule and clinical team. She is the diligent team leader who will be scheduling your surgery, ensuring your surgery is pre-authorized, scheduling your pre-surgery evaluation and preparing for your after surgery appointments. Heather will gather up your medical provider clearance documents and will ensure your surgery site has everything it needs prior to your surgery. Heather has acquired a wealth of information of her many years with Dr Moore and PSC. There is likely not an answer that Heather cannot give.
Portia Brown
Patient Care Coordinator
Portia is one of Dr Moore’s two Patient Care Coordinators who assists patients with scheduling appointments, scheduling tests, acquiring insurance authorizations for medications and injections, and so much more. Taking excellent care of patients requires attention to detail, and Portia always does so with a bubbly approach to patient care. Dr Moore’s office receives thousands of calls every month, and Portia is up to the task.
Jenna Lanza
Patient Care Coordinator
Dr Moore is lucky enough to have two excellent Patient Care Coordinators, with Jenna being one of the two. Jenna answers many of Dr Moore’s patient phone calls every day. She assists patients in scheduling appointments, scheduling testing, acquiring insurance authorizations for medications and injections, and greets the thousands of patients who call Dr Moore and his team of physician assistants and nurse practitioner. Jenna loves animals and is a U.S. Military Veteran.
Kaicie Medina
Certified Medical Assistant
Kaicie is one of newest but most versatile additions to Dr Moore’s team. Kaicie is involved in readying patients to be seen by their orthopedic provider. Kaicie will be taking your vital signs, going over your medications and medical/surgical history. Kaicie will be documenting your orthopedic symptoms and placing orders for testing and appointment follow up as directed by your medical provider.
Candy Loflin

Candy is a long time employee of Pinehurst Surgical and she has worked with Dr Moore for many years. Candy is involved in readying patients to be seen by their orthopedic provider. Candy will be taking your vital signs, going over your medications and medical/surgical history. Candy will be documenting your orthopedic symptoms and placing orders for testing and appointment follow up as directed by your medical provider. Candy is also involved in communicating with patients in need and triage.
