Here’s a brief overview of our services:
- Orthopaedic surgery
From knee arthroscopy to joint replacement, from repairing a torn ligament to correcting a bone deformity, if it involves the joints or bones, Dr. Moore understands its function and why it’s causing you so much pain.
- Outpatient Joint Replacement Surgery
Why stay in a cold, impersonal hospital if you don’t need to? We offer outpatient joint replacement at our state-of-the-art surgical center, where you’ll love the concierge experience for your knee or hip replacement.
- Total Knee Replacement
Total knee replacement is highly successful, with over 90 percent of patients experiencing complete relief from their years of chronic pain. You’ll be amazed at how great your new knee feels.
- Total Hip Replacement
Having a damaged or degenerative hip can keep you from doing many of the things you love to do, even taking a hike on a beautiful Carolina trail. Sleep can even become painful. Dr. Moore provides total hip replacement to get you back in the game.
This “wear and tear” arthritis is especially hard on the joints. We all deal with some joint pain as we age, but if you have osteoarthritis it can be an entire different level of pain and impact on your life. Dr. Moore can perform a partial or complete replacement of a knee or hip to rectify the degeneration.
- Patellofemoral Arthritis
This form of arthritis affects the kneecap. The cartilage behind the kneecap has deteriorated and become inflamed. Patients may even have bone on bone contact. Dr. Moore may use arthroscopy, a kneecap alignment, or knee replacement to correct the damage.
- Hip Bursitis
We have bursae in all of our joints, providing cushioning for the bones, tendons, and ligaments. Overuse leads to inflammation of these fluid-filled sacs — bursitis. Dr. Moore provides various non-surgical treatments for hip bursitis, but occasionally when the inflammation doesn’t resolve, it’s necessary to remove the bursa.
