Moore Regional Hospital Recognized as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopaedic Surgery
PINEHURST, N.C. – FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, including its Hoke and Richmond campuses, has been recognized as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopaedic Surgey by Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use when searching for a doctor or hospital.
Moore Regional also earned the 2025 Orthopaedic Surgery Excellence award, placing the hospital among the nation’s top 10% for overall orthopaedic services. Moore Regional also ranked as a five-star recipient for total knee replacement and hip fracture treatment for four years in a row.

As part of its 2025 hospital assessment, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine the top performers in specialty care.
