Pinehurst Surgical Clinic Breaks Ground on New Ambulatory Surgical Center
PINEHURST, N.C. – Pinehurst Surgical Clinic (PSC), in partnership with FirstHealth of the Carolinas, will break ground on a new ambulatory surgical center on Jan. 25, 2025. The new surgery center will offer outpatient orthopaedic surgery exclusively and will be staffed by PSC’s award-winning surgical team.

As more and more orthopaedic surgeries become available on an outpatient basis, it is important to have a surgery center to meet the needs of Moore County residents and our surrounding communities.”
With two operating suites and four procedure rooms, the center will primarily offer musculoskeletal outpatient surgery, including orthopaedic and sports medicine surgeries and full and partial joint replacement, fracture care and spine & pain management.

Pinehurst Surgical Clinic boasts 12 board certified orthopaedic surgeons including fellowship trained sub-specialists to meet the needs of those who are suffering from an injury or suffering from a long-term chronic condition.
The 24,000 square foot surgery center will be located at PSC’s Morganton Road campus on Pavilion Way in Southern Pines. According to the contractor, Brassfield & Gorrie, the expected completion date for the surgery center is late 2025 to early 2026.
